At DANS, we are a highly focused on providing quality care to your loved ones. The management team at DANS (Disability and Nursing Solutions) are Police Officers and Registered Nurses and they have combined experience of more than 60 years in emergency services. We understand the challenges faced by families dealing with their loved ones and the care that is required in both nursing and disability sector. The team at DANS knows how to care even in adversity with compassion. We inspire the highest possible standards within our care homes, which enables us to deliver tailored services that make a tangible difference to the lives of those we support.

Our Team

Lisa Wilson (Director)

Lisa completed her Enrolled Nursing in 2002 and is currently an Endorsed Enrolled Nurse. From 2003-2007 Lisa worked in the Aged Care and Disability sector working at both Marsden and Rydalmere Hospitals working primarily with people with disabilities.
Since 2007 Lisa has worked in the public sector doing general nursing, and palliative care and has worked in Emergency Department for the past 10 years. Lisa has a strong commitment to patient care and making a difference through her nursing and is highly regarded by her colleagues. She has also received a lot of positive feedback from her patients and accolades for her patient care.
Lisa is a Mother and Grandmother and in her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family and going to the gym.
Lisa has recently made a decision to return to working within the Disability sector forming her own Disability and Nursing Agency along with other similarly qualified people who have the same passion and drive for making a difference in the lives of people with disabilities.

Kornika Shrestha (Director)

Kornika is a Registered Nurse and holds a deep passion for the care of elderly and disabled people for the past 10 years in a variety of facilities across Sydney.
She has high level of clinical knowledge and nursing skills to provide a patient centred care.
Over the past 10 years Kornika has displayed leadership roles in health care facilities identifying patient care requirements at all levels utilising her clinical and analytical skills to care for them.
Kornika brings the same passion and experience to DANS to care for your loved ones.

Nishant Ramavat (Director)

Nishant has served the community as a Police Officer for 14 years. He has also worked in the Disability Sector for more than 7 years. Nishant is passionate about education and training. His expertise in dealing with challenging behaviours whilst in the police force as well as working within the Disability sector adds a lot of value to the DANS team.
Nishant is a father of three children and his wife has been working in Disability Sector assisting the vulnerable members of our society since 2008. Nishant has expertise in business, law, and finance.
He has been running a successful mortgage broking company since 2018 and brings his business experience to our recruiting, training, and quality control processes.
